The addition of Dresser Masoneilan reinforces the already strong acceptance of
FDT Technology among valve suppliers
Brussels, September 24, 2008: FDT Group AISBL proudly announces that Dresser Masoneilan,
the leading international valve supplier, has joined the FDT Group as corporate member. This
membership further strengthens the acceptance of FDT Technology among valve suppliers. All
major control valve suppliers, with the exception of one, are now members of the FDT Group.
This clearly indicates that the benefits delivered by the FDT Technology are recognized by the
specialists and that FDT provides a particularly powerful environment for expressing valve asset
management and predictive maintenance features.
This suitability has been acknowledged since the start of FDT and found strong support with
end users such as Saudi Aramco, Shell and Chevron. More recently, the performance test
commissioned by the users association WIB confirmed that FDT programming technology is the
best environment for describing asset management and sophisticated maintenance features.
